Shafi selected with 2227 votes, and he belongs to Con(A) Group. Con(I) Group candidate Rijil lag behind 'A' group with 1493 votes R.B. Nijo, Kukku Merin Philip, Manju Kuttan, are the another 'A' Group General Secretaries.
